It’s a Celebration
wedding weekend Schedule & info
-
FRIDAY 10/7
If you make it to Sharon Springs early, join us for a pizza party at Clausen Farms, just a quick drive from the church. Starts at 6 pm, goes until late–just an informal stop by when you want kind of thing!
-
SATURDAY 10/8
Wedding is at 4 pm at 128 Washington Street, a.k.a the deconsecrated church! After the ceremony, there will be toasts in the garden next to the church, and dinner in the meadow across the street, followed by a dance party in the church.
-
Sunday 10/9
At 11 a.m. we’ll be hosting brunch in the same tent as lasagna, with coffee, tea, cones, quiche, and takeout boxes in case you need to snag something and hit the road. We’ll also be doing tie-dye lead by the singular sensation Katie Porter.
-
Toasts
After the ceremony, we’ll be having a cocktail hour with toasts. Anyone who’d like to can share a benediction or a toast.
-
Dress Code
Wear something you’ve always wanted an excuse to wear, and something that makes you happy. Sequins, feathers, outrageous accessories, and joyful over-the-top-ness are welcome. If you’re thinking “No I couldn’t wear that, it’s too much,” nope, you should wear it. The only caveat is the church is on a hill, and the meadow is, of course, outside, so wear shoes that aren’t horrible to walk in.
-
Kids Are Welcome!
Kids are welcome to join for the reception—we just ask you keep a close eye on them. The dance party is adults only!
